He gets out in 2017 when he'll be 100 years old, I think he'll make it, he won't retire neither, he's LCN til they put him in the ground.

I can't agree more Pal - gangster through and through. I think he makes it too. They broke the mold after they made him smile.

Yea, He served the Genoveses for atleast 50 years in Jersey before his death in the mid 80's.

PB, Is John Barbato still active? If he is, I believe he's up there with Old Neil Migliore and John Franzese as the most longest tenured mobsters still serving their family.

As far as the Westside goes, Baby Shades has most of Staten Island now.

Do the Genovese' have a serious presence on the island PB or does Jr have a small crew? He's lowkey as they come, literally no info about him since the fish market.

Staten Island and Brooklyn were never really Genovese strongholds. And by that, I just mean that the family's strength was always elsewhere. That said, they're still the Genovese family. And given Staten Island's proximity to North Jersey, that kid is a VERY serious player today.

Mobsters alive with the longest tenure in their family.

John Franzese
Aniello Migliore

Any others who's still alive and active?

I remember the quote, and I'm sure he said it. But it's not entirely true. Because the Genovese family certainly put a few guys out to pasture over the years.

Petro...

You've surely heard of his father? Allie Shades, retired now but used to be a power house during 80's and 90's, tbh I'm not even sure if Pizzaboy is talking about Allie Jr or Frank malangone tbh lol Just a guess, Allie Jr's brother, Frank is also a made guy, was made in 1989 at 27, he's 52 years old, Staten Island guy with Jersey links. Got put on New Jersey eclusion list in 2009.

Frank Malangone back in 2005..

I've heard and read about Allie Shades on numerous occasions. Any pictures of Allie Jr around?

Frank Malangone is a capo or soldier in the Genovese family?

Thanks for the photo and the info Tommy!

Just came across this guy.

http://mafia.wikia.com/wiki/James_Lanza

Although there is very limited info, he did live to be 103 years old and the family went under when he died so he very well might be the only one who could compete with Sonny

Sonny Franzese did not look 95 years old in his last mugshot and, he still has more damn hair on his head than I do at 35.

Anyone ever notice that mafia guys live forever?
I guess it is true that, only the good die young!

I have more hair on my balls than Sammy Gravano has on his head.

@ItalianIrishMix, James "Jimmy the Hat" Lanza retired in 1990 after Gaspare "Bill" Sciortino passed away. Lanza handed the family over to Anthony Lima Jr, son of former Boss Anthony Lima Snr, who passed away in 93', then the family went under. Jimmy was made around 1930, his brother Tony was made in the mid 1920's. 1930-2006 is a long time, but he retired in 90'.
