Know any hilarious or just plain great mob stories/urban legends?

I think the situation when Michael Franzese was 10 minutes late for a meeting, when he showed up the guys, (I think it was the Underboss or something)just left him. Called him up next day and told him to meet. Michael Franzese went to the location and waited. He waited for 5-6 hours until the Underboss-guy (Jerry Langella?) asked him if he understand. Michael says 'Yeah' and Langella says 'Good. Go home.' and drove off.

Think it was mentioned in the '10 commandments of the mob' documentary.

There was this nightclub The San Su San. They say that the wiseguys would be fighting while waiting outside to get into the place only to continue fighting inside. Then the show would start they'd settle down for a little while and go back to fighting.
The singer would have to STOP the show just to take the WOUNDED out then get back to singing.

Anyone else ever heard of this place?

And I spelled it wrong on purpose the people who know the place will know what i mean

My favourite by a country mile was salvatore santoro in the commission case , having given the others there 100 year sentences the judge was summing up before sentencing santoro , santoro cut the judge off mid sentence saying shut the fuck up and give me the 100 years

A man that was trying to become a judge called Frank Costello to talk about the election. Frank tells him, "If I say it's in the bag, it's in the bag." And the man became judge. Frank was literally making judges.

Did he really say that? brilliant

No he did not. I sat in on that sentencing, as my father worked for that judge for 30 years as his Court Clerk. I saw the whole sentencing and that part is myth; although he did make other remarks here and there, which I don't remember off hand, I was only like 14 y/o or so.

Everybody on this forum would have loved to be a court clerk during that trial.

One story about a Westside guy in (1970/71) who was more of a freelancer and who really did not want to be made, is that on the day he was to be inducted he arrived wearing white sneakers and licking a ice cream cone. True story. His induction never happened.

I would have paid top dollar to see that. They say his vocabulary was like that of a 6th grader. His main argument was that the Mafia doesn't exist. Brilliant!

Heres a few stories from the past that i found to be hilarious...

Al Capone once shot himself after playing a game of golf with Johnny Patton i think.When the game finished Capone was getting into a car when his gun discharged in his legs and groin.Al was taken to a hospital and occupied the entire floor of hte building.

In the 1940's Paul Ricca and the Fischetti brothers were injured in a elevator incident and after that they had a suit pending against the owner of the building.

One day Tony Accardo was leaving the Federal Courthouse and was asked by the journalist Sandy Smith if he had any comment about his day in court and Accardo said something like "Yeah Sandy" he said with another smile,"Fuck you".

Also when the cops found the abandoned car of the missing Spilotro brothers,they also found a tape with James Bond soundtrack classics in the radio.
