I was reading about this guy Al Polizzi on wikipedia.

For the people here who know more about this sort of thing than I do: Do you think that even in the mid 1930s he had any influence over stuff going on in Southern CA? It says he basically controlled Cleveland in the 30s does that mean he would have had influence over Youngstown and all the areas near there too?

No I don't mean he was the boss, leader, or anything like that in Southern CA..but that he had businesses there or told people he worked with in Ohio to go there to run them, etc.

OK I found out about this guy, and he and his siblings definitely had influence over parts of SoCal.
