I presume that this thread has probably been made before but I was wondering if one, anyone here knows people in or connected to the mob and two, what are those people like to get along with? Do they look down on you? Are they generally kind and polite in person, or are they like the gangsters in the film Gomorra?
God I hate being from Australia sometimes.

Mafia members in Italy and Sicily aren't going to talk to you. But it's not because they are mafia; it's a cultural issue. They dont trust you and they don't like you.

Also, on a different note; Why isn't Hollywood producing Mafia films that are similar to Gomorra? I watched that film last week and I was blown the fuck away by it. I know that the situation is different in America with RICO and shit and the diversity of other ethnicities involved in OC but still, surely there's gotta be something grittier than goodfellas.
