Looks good. I'd like to see it simply because I liked Gandolfini and it was filmed in, and supposed to take place, in Brooklyn.

Does look pretty good. I really still can't get use to the fact that Gandolfini is gone. frown He'll ALWAYS be Tony Soprano to me.

Absolutely TIS. I call my grandson Thomas "T". His father is Tom, so he is Thomas, but I like "T". Kind of a tribute to Tony.

Just bought the book. It's a short story by Dennis Lehane called animal rescue. Book takes place in Boston though and not bk which kind of sucks.

It's gotten generally good reviews so far, primarily because of the strong script and acting by Gandolfini and Hardy.

The original short story was much better. I'm a big Lehane fan, and frankly I'm disappointed that he did a novelization to capitalize on Gandolfini's death. That's how I see it anyway. It worked much better as a short story. All he did was add some fluff.

As far as the film, they should have left it in Boston. Because Lehane IS Boston. Check out his Kenzie-Gennaro PI series and you'll see what I mean.

The short story was all that was needed. Me and you spoke about this last winter I believe. That short story gave me the chills.
