Just stumbled across this article published in June, 2011 about Irwin Molasky's deal to build and lease the FBI a building in San Diego. Molasky and his family have decades long ties to OC and LCN, all the way back to the days of the racing wire.
It's misinformation by the FBI bro, they trying to find out if they have a leak.
But in all seriousness that's a pretty good article. Makes you wonder if there are any behind the scenes deals going on or if the Feds just didn't do their research. Maybe the guy was an informant earlier and the FBI is helping him out with construction? Very intriguing article!
