I have just started reading "Hitman" the story of John Veasey and am wondering what you Philly guys think- is it BS or pretty accurate?? Claims he was "Made" by Stanfa even though only half Italian. Thanks in advance

He may have been made by Stanfa, which would obviously not be recognized by anyone. Besides that he is pretty full of shit.

Veasey got his button after a wacking mikey chang. Stanfa was desperate to get a crew going and made nearly everyone around him even partially ital except for herb keller and freddy aldrich.
Not suprising then that over half of htem flipped, by the end the guys who stood up were the minority in his crew.

hows veasey say he got made in his book? previte said stanfa just said now your made, and with me. but pretty sure merlino the changs mousie, turchi and a lot others had the official burnng of the saint card. anyone remember how horsehead said his induction ws.

I want to check out that book'Hitman'. Is that book worth me getting from the library? Anybody have any insight on this ?
