Not sure if anyone is a fan of the Australian TV show Underbelly around here, but there is a new series from Channel 9 called Fat Tony and Co which is coming out this year.

The series will be about Australian/Lebanese criminal Tony Mokbel. The cast is back from the original Underbelly series also, looking forward to this one.

I havent seen any of the other seasons or australian shows but underbelly season 1 about the carlton crew was great, i honestly forgot i was watching australian tv, it was definatly on par with HBO.

The other seasons are quite good also, i mean its over dramatized in typical Underbelly fashion but there enjoyable none the less.

The Carlton Crew will be back for Fat Tony and Co, so here's hoping its got some of the magic that Underbelly season 1 had.

Watched the first episode, seems like it will be ok.

Not as good as the other Underbelly series for me so far. They are using many of the actors that have been in previous Underbelly series which is something i dislike, such as Roberta Williams now being played by Tracy from Underbelly 5: Badness.

Looks like benjis dad who was in the first series is going to be playing a completely different character also, which is ridiculous considering the story is still loosely based around the first season.

I can't seem to watch any movie with people who have British or Australian accents lol. I feel like shooting myself.

Not sure if anyone has been watching Fat Tony and Co. It was ok, not entirely accurate once again in some scenes, but was a decent watch overall.

I put together a real life vs actors on my blog for the series incase anyone is interested.

This was honestly the worst crime show I've ever seen. 1 episode was enough for me to puke my guts up.

The Philadelphia accent isn't exactly the most attractive either...
