Surely any ties he has to him would be through Frank Cali who gianni nicchi has come to new york to visit in the past.

Strange question bobbyvegas, maybe Cali introduced Alphonse while Nicchi was in New York but I highly doubt it.

Trucchio is close with John Gambino though, not sure how close to Cali he is.

A longtime friend of mine got released from prison in jan. He's not a wiseguy, but was in the joint with alphonse. He said alphonse became really close with 2 other wiseguys while locked up. 2 guys named lumbrano and zanfardino(not sure if spelled correctly). Does anybody on here know about these other 2 guys? Are they made? Which families are they with? One of them owns a trucking company

zanfardino could be mike "hippy" zanfardino, a younger genovese guy from the bronx (in his early 40s). lubrano is around the same age and should be getting out of jail in the next couple years if i remember correctly, which is crazy because he was caught about 4 years ago as a fugitive and tied to some home invasions. caught a great plea deal

why would trucchio be shelved? i read he got into a tiff with corrozzo the lawyer in court but besides that i wonder what else he did. that crew was pretty big and very active. easy to say so and so was made because of their father but alphonse seemed like he was no joke

The kid was an earner and must be respected because he was brought to north jersey for a meeting with philly. I think he went with john gambino.

You do realise what family he's in right? The current boss and a lot of the top guys were big in heroin..This ain't 1960 anymore. He's stand up and a huge earner like you said. Guys like Cali and Trucchio are the future of that family.

He's small time compared to los Mexicanos y Colombianos.

Big Joey Lubrano is indeed a Lucchese Capo, "Hippy" Zanfardino is In Barneys Pelham Bay Genovese crew, coincidentally both were involved with the Tanglewood Boys in the 90's, Lubrano was jailed for beatiing the shit out of sone guy In manhattan but it later was revealed to be two Tanglewood guys, Darin Mazzarella and Santorelli, Hippy on the other hand is the guy who famously shot Mazzarella to shit in Alfred Loreto park, Mazzarella and his brother later turned informant

hahah I do not have a moustache, own or wear a sombrero, or like the lucha libre wrestling.

A Mexican friend and I were talking the other day and we find it funny the way a lot of North Americans think that most Mexican men have a moustache (bigote), have dark hair/complexions, have a Nahuatl/Azteca or Mayan heritage, and wear a sombrero.
