I saw a National Geographic documentary titled America Cosa Nostra and I'm curious to know if there are other gangs out of New York made by Italian Americans.
I made a list of the gangs that I know, someone has information on their activities? how many members it have, if are still active and so on.

Tanglewood Boys
Garfield Boys
Bath Avenue Crew
New Springfield Boy
10th and Oregon
Ozone Park Boys
South Brooklyn Boys
a gang of San Francisco, of I can't remember the name.

MORGAN: Why didn't you fight him at the park if you wanted to? I'm not goin' now, I'm eatin' my snack.
CHUCKIE: Morgan, Let's go.
MORGAN: I'm serious Chuckie, I ain't goin'.
WILL: So don't go.

The East Harlem Purple Gang is dead in late '70,when many members like Angelo Prisco and Daniel Leo become made men.

There was a loosly connected gang in Bensonhurst Brooklyn in the 80s knows as the "B Boys", made up mostly of kids and nephews of semi connected guys.
It was a member of the gang who was arretsted for the murder of Yoseph Hawkins
Not sure if they still exis.
There was also a gang in Utica/Rome NY from the late 50 to the 80s that i'm not sure actaully had a name, but one may have gotten made made in Buffalo (Benny Carcone) and several became highish level associates and were recruited into the Falange crew

In Brooklyn alone you have AUB ( Avenue U boys ), Kings Hwy boys, 18th ave, 20th ave & 13th ave all have "farm team" crews of kids as well.

10th and Oregon isn't necessarily an Italian gang but more of a South Philly gang, not all the members are Italian Americans. A very large portion of the South Philly Pagan MC are Italians.

I know theres still LCN in southern Brooklyn but didnt realize there will still Italian gangs there. Thought they mostly moved to SI/NJ/LI and the area became Chinese/Russian with some older holdouts.

What are the Avenue U boys named after. What's the U stand for?

Makes you think. Makes you think about the people in your life. And when I think, I think of Neil. If he were here now what would he say? He would say "John what's it about? What's life about... if you dont go through it as a man's man?". He'd say "Suck it up, take the fall do the time. That made you what you are. That makes you what you are. How long have we been around this thing of ours? This Cosa Nostra? 120 years. What's it about? It's about the rules, perimeters. You take the beating for a friend, you don't run, you don't lay down, you don't betray who you are. What you are.

I doubt any of the gangs mentioned are really around anymore. Garfield Boys/South Brooklyn Boys... Those are like west side story era gangs during the times when people played stickball in the street, and every neighborhood had a gang and they'd all brawl in the parks

As far as the other ones like tanglewood or bath beach, they basically went extinct when the members either got made, got killed, got arrested, or simply grew up and moved on.

This gets said a lot on here but the city is really a different place from both of those eras above and it's never coming back. I'm sure there are still a lot of kids in Yonkers, places in BK, and mostly on Staten Island , who aspire to be wise guys and work together to move drugs, steroids, take bets, and stuff like that. But I doubt there are any "farm team" gangs around (if they could even be considered farm teams in the first place)
