A very rare surveillance photo of Fonzarelli standing down one of Milwuakee's finest in an argument over the weekly envelope. According to FBI documents he had heavy influence with the Brewery Workers Union st the Shotz Brewery with two female associates who were union chairwomen, Laverne "Schlemiel" Di Fazio and Sherley "Hasenpfeffer" Feeney. They kept the membership in line through enforcers Andrew "Squiggy" Squigman and Leonard "Lenny" Konsnowski, both of whom also ran a book in a back room of the Pizza Bowl. Squigman disappeared in the early '80s after it was rumored he crossed some Oufit guys. Konsnowski now runs a respect legit book in Vegas and doesn't like to talk about his past associations in Milwaukee.

I knew he had to be into unions somewhere...Do you believe the rumors about him ordering the hit on Hoffa?
Only if he ran it by the consigliere, Richie "The Hump" Cunningham.

The Hoffa hit is so clouded in conspiracy theories and rumors it's hard to tell. I've had some reliable people say that it was an old timer from out-of-town , "Uncle" Rico Mastorelli, who did the work. Fonzarelli was powerful and carried influence, but if he did do it he was acting for the commission.
