You're one of my favorite Brits, DeNiro (especially after I saw that video of your Mom). But, DUH lol.

Do you think someone will hire him in film work? If they don't would that be discrination?

I have someone I know and like who is an incredible singer. He had a great career going on the stage. He was young and stupid a lot of women was drawn to him. He had talent and very handsome man and single at that time. One women he really dug. She was underage when they had sex. She said he knew maybe he did or didn't.

Any way when he broke it off she had him arrested. His lawyers told him to cope a plea or he could face major jail time if convicted. So he took it, but he is considered a sex offender.

That was a while ago he is married now and has kids. He does a lot of charitable work as well.

But there are people out their that make it their life's work to make sure he never works again. Like if they never did anything wrong in their lives.

I won't mention his name but he is relatively well know for his talent not his past. I don't mention it because some will only think about his past.

Technically, it probably is discrimination. But I've heard that he's pretty much "blackballed." It's very difficult to prove discrimination in that profession because it's so elective.

And it didn't help him at all that both Palminteri and DeNiro released scathing statements about him when he was released. I expected it from Chazz because he's a Conservative Republican. He donates lots of time and money to the Westchester DA's office (which has always been overwhelmingly Republican). But I was a little surprised at DeNiro because he's such a public liberal.

Me, personally? The kid's a punk. I couldn't care less. Let him go on welfare for all I care.

If he can't get another paying movie part soon. He most likely would go back to using drugs and stealing to pay for them.

He's done. Wouldn't be shocked at all if he's back in jail a year from now.

He was a lowlife before, during and after "A Bronx Tale." And I know that sounds harsh because he was just a kid when he was discovered, but I've heard from plenty of people in that area (the Lockwood area of Yonkers) that this kid's been a creep all his life.

I think Chazz Palminteri's comments kind of made him sound like an asshole. Drug addiction encourages people to make awful choices.

And just because Chazz said "I heard your doing drugs, you should stay away from drugs".....is he stunned that a statement like that didn't stop a heroin addict from using heroin?

No offense, but you have no idea how many times this kid fucked up and they covered it up for him. The Yonkers PD were at his house once a week before that incident. I know several people who know this kid intimately, and to a man, they all say he's been a trouble making little creep all his life.

Now I'm all for programs that help junkies straighten their lives out, but after a certain amount of times enough is enough. A cop is dead because of that scumbag's need to get high. Fuck him. Fuck his parents for adopting him from fucking Bogota of all places. And fuck his twelve stepping enablers.

I am sympathetic to drug addicts (and those around them) because its a bad life and they all make bad choices and hurt everybody around them. Lillo was guilty of that crime and certainly deserved a long prison sentence, maybe even longer than he got. I just don't like Chazz's comments. They seem unprofessional and ignorant about addiction.
