Hi everyone. I'm a part-time game designer who has two published works under his belt. Life of a Wizard and Paradox Factor can both be found on all the major online markets (iTunes, Google Play, Amazon, Chrome Store, etc).

Check out (and Like) http://www.facebook.com/LucidsGames

My current project is called Life of a Mobster. During my research, I stumbled upon this wonderful forum. I'd love to pick your brains for ideas.

I'm not aiming to be historically accurate. This game will take place during an undated present day, but I want it to have the grandeur from the 40s. So, not exactly realistic for present day, but entertaining, I hope.

Here are a few things I'm curious about:

1) What activities would you want to see in a gangster game/story? Especially, what crimes and money makers?

2) One scene places the main character in prison. What activities would you expect a person to engage in who is close to becoming made or already made? This is a relatively short, 4 year, sentence.

3) What ideas or interests would you like to see show up in a story/movie/game about mobsters?

No takers, huh. smile

No problem. I still love the site. Maybe when the game is released, you'll want to check it out. That probably won't be until at least March.

I think most here would agree, when it comes to Mob games you need to try and be as correct as you could be. That probably doesn't mean a great game with a wide base like GTA, but to mafia buffs it has to be as close to 100% or you wont get much interest.

Just my opinion.
