Those guys won't be in charge much longer if joe ligambi goes to prison , there is a lot of scarfo guys that have been released who won't take orders from mazzone and his crew most particularly the narducci brothers and the grande brothers. These guys were stone cold gangsters wen mazzone and his crew were street corner kids . My bet is Phillip narducci could make a move for the top spot if ligambi goes to prison

I doubt that, who wants the top spot and all the heat it brings anymore. If they were smart they would put some money on the street, run a small book and pay up the ladder and try to enjoy their golden years....

Everyone keeps saying they think Phil Narducci is gonna be in charge but why would you think that besides george anastatia or people on the forum saying it? Nobody has anything to back it up theyre just saying it. I understand hes older and did his time and all that.. but whats he gonna do show up with his young guys from the club and take over everything mazzone and them got going on? and mazzone and them are just gonna lay down? its not gonna happen. unless mazzone himself ends up handin him the title or they have a vote or something like that

If mazzone was smart he would just give it up to him and stay in the shadows collecting money and let Narducci and his young crew take all the heat, but from what i hear all them young kids are all messed up on percs and other pills so if they get arrested and start withdrawing they gonna flip quick as hell.... or uncle joe could come home and tell them both hes back in charge and for them to fall in line... anything could happen though, it is philly.

Yeah, count me in as skeptical that Narducci just takes over. Alot of media talk mentions the Scarfo guys getting out and getting back involved, but of all of them who can we say has really reentered the picture? The Pungs are gone, Scafidi in Florida, Chuckie passed....In my estimation, you have Phil Narducci and Joe Grande that seem to be active. I'm no insider, so maybe they have a loyal following in greater numbers than I give them credit for, but as it stands I cant see Mazzone and crew being bumped aside. Just my opinion....

Yeah, I think Anastasia bases alot of this on Leonettis book, and his claims that Narducci is the real deal. Prob true, but how much its based in fact will remain to be seen.

I think it comes down to who is on the street last. If mazzone goes down then easily narducci is one of the few left capable of running that family that I know of.

For the record I think ligambi gets off and borgesi doesn't. Monacello seems like he was coached pretty well this time around.

eh it will be a close decision, the fact that he was announced as boss at the meeting in the restaurant will hurt him alot but i dont know if its enough

Narducci is definitely involved in something cause word is he is a captain along with Mikey lancelotti and sonny mazzone. I've heard Sonny was recently bumped up to capo. And I would think narducci has his nephews and all there friends doing dirty work for him. Think about it Philip has to start some where, so they make him a capo and have him put a crew together.Now let's see what he can do with it ya know?

Assume Sonny got bumped since his brother got the top position...skinny Joey has been quiet in south fla .. Haven't heard much which is what he wants I'm sure - he could be done with it altogether but I'm wondering when he is able to come back to philly how that will shake out
