Hey guys, we all know that four of the five families have always had a big presence in South Florida and it continues to host guys from all different families even in recent years, Vinny A, Trucchio, from the Gambinos, Farese and Maragni from the Colombos, Chilli and Fiore for the Bonnanos, but the only made guy with the Westside Ive read about recently is the "Captain" Ray Ruggierro who became a rat not too long after he took a pinch ,even reading about him though I can't find mention of another straightened out guy down there, anything?

i know the geneveses had some influence in the ILA dockworkers union in florida but in the past few years thers been a couple cases against them so i dont know if they still have any control over that union. im not sure about any names.

Angelo Prisco had a lot going on in Florida because that's where his family moved back in the '90s. His ex-wife still lives in Boynton Beach and two of his kids live in Delray at least part-time. But most of his action down there was semi-legit and pretty much his alone, meaning that his crew down there wouldn't necessarily have taken it over after got life (coincidentally, he's serving his life sentence at Coleman, which is in Central Florida). And the few guys he had with him down there were pretty old, so they're pretty much retired now (the guys who I know are still alive and still on the street so I won't post names, but it's there if you research it).

The Westside guys have been living part-time in Florida since forever, from Funzi Tieri to the present day (Barney still has his place in Bal Harbour, but I doubt he'll use it now that Camille has passed away). And Chinky was down there for eons before he died. But that doesn't necessarily mean they had anything going on down there businesswise. Florida has always been a place for them to enjoy their money a little more than they do in New York (where they're notoriously low key).
