This is actually an Irish drama from a couple of years ago but it has just hit the UK screens. Award winning stuff about Irish drug and gang problems but with plenty of proper human drama thrown in. Don't know if you can get this in the US, but keep an eye peeled. Very, very good. Stars the excellent Aiden Gillen of the Wire and Game of Thrones fame!!

I do get a UK America channel here Yogi. I'll check to see if I get that show, but it doesn't sound familiar. It sounds pretty good tho.

I LOVE UK's Law & Order and enjoyed both the American & UK version of Being Human (tho series just ended).

INTEREST: Farrell says he’s waiting on more details before he signs up for the American remake of Love/Hate
IRISH Hollywood star Colin Farrell has confirmed his interest in the US remake of Love/Hate — but said his involvement will depend on the script.

The Total Recall actor was the first name linked with the American version of the crime show — and Colin (37) revealed he is waiting for more details about the project before deciding whether to sign up.

“I heard they were doing an American version, but I’ve no plan — you just read stuff, and see what you respond to,” the Dubliner revealed.

“I haven’t seen the show yet but I have the box set and I hear it’s brilliant.”

He explained that technical issues stopped him from catching the RTE gangland drama until now, revealing: “I had the wrong format of the box set. But now I have the right one, so I’ll watch it when I go back.”

Coast

The Phone Booth hunk was in Dublin this week to make an appearance at the IFTAs. But he didn’t have to jet in all the way from his pad in LA — as he was actually filming in Sneem, Co Kerry.

HUNK: Colin is filming on location in Sneem, Co Kerry at the moment for his upcoming flick The Lobster
The star has been shooting The Lobster there with The Constant Gardener star Rachel Weisz for the past two weeks — and the unlikely tourist explained that he has used his time off to explore the west coast.

“I get the weekends off so I’ve rented a car and I drive around, happy as anything,” he said.

“Kenmare’s only 20 minutes away. I went to Dingle the other day, and I know Castletownbere because I worked there before.

“I can do it without being recognised — there’s no-one around those parts anyway!”

Dad

Colin said his two sons have stayed in LA as the shoot is only six weeks, but James (10) and four-year-old Henry are frequent visitors to their dad’s native country.

And the doting parent said that being a dad is the best role of his life.

The star gushed: “It’s baffling. It’s confounding and wonderful. It’s the most important thing in my life. But it’s very frustrating because you’ve no idea what to do.”

The Lobster films here for another month before the cast and crew return to LA.
