Does anyone have pictures and info they would like to share on the Pietrantonio's? I know of Tommy, Vincent, and Antonio. Wondering how many more there are in Montreal? Who exactly are they working for? I know Lorenzo LoPresti was working with Antonio and Lorenzo was killed and Antonio was in critical condition.

Pretty sure Antonio Pietrantonio (AKA Tony Suzuki) is no relation to Vincent and Tommy.
But yes, from all accounts, Lopresti was close to Suzuki when Lopresti was murdered and Suzuki had attempt on his life.

I'm interested to know where Suzuki/Lopresti allegiance was during attack on the Rizzutos. I've read conflicting stories that Suzuki was part of the group trying to reach a consensus for control of Montreal (with the others being Montagna,Desjardins and Dimaulo), but on the other hand read that he was close with Augustino Cun-trera, who would have remained loyal to Rizzuto. Also Lopresti was close to Nick Jr. Any thoughts?

I heard Larry LoPresti was close to Agostino Cun trera from the Rizzuto side I read he distanced himself from the Rizzuto's for the murder of his father Joe LoPresti which had to be approved by Vito Rizzuto. If that's true about Larry being close to Nick Jr. then that disproves the theory he distanced himself from the Rizzuto's. I too wonder the Allegiance of those two (LoPresti and Pietrantonio).

Both Pietrantonio and LoPresti were close to [BadWord]. But when [BadWord] and Rizzuto were killed everything was up for grabs and new alliances were shaped. Tony Suzuki and LoPresti were ambitious and opportunistic and presumably sided with Montagna against Desjardins.

Sonny,

So you think Pietrantonio/Lopresti were loyal to rizzuto up until cun trera's murder? i'm leaning mostly towards that school of thought as well. I'm guessing they figured that they better make an alliance with somebody or they'd just as likely be targeted for remaining loyal to Rizzuto. Do you think Pietrantonio would be targeted by Rizzuto now?

Also, has anybody heard the cause of death for Giuseppe DeVito?

I think they remained loyal to the Rizzutos until Nick Sr.'s murder, which created a power vacuum. Pietrantonio was one of the few underworld figures who went to Nick's funeral. So I don't think Pietrantonio and LoPresti sided against the Rizzuto family per se, they just saw the wind changing and followed suit. I'm not sure if that would be enough for him to be targeted, but who knows...

heres a new article about a recent shooting involving a Claudio Marco Campellone. The article mentions at the bottom that De Vito died of apparently natural causes, but autopsy results are still unknown.

Also just came across this article, titled 'Laval Police Investigate Report of Possible Attack on Reputed Mob Boss':

Mick,

Thank you for sharing the articles the French one is very interesting. I never realized how much bigger of a player DeVito "Ponytail" was. I always assumed he was just a minion and small time.

KindA off subject but the elder lopresti was killed by the capo george from cananda. And him being a bonanno soldier marked george for death according to massino. I think vito came down to nyc and got made by galante like every one else.
