I've just been reading Lynda Milito's Mafia Wife. So far I like the book but Milito renames many of the people her husband dealt with, probably out of sympathy for their families. She names a man named John Bontate as Milito's capo. Is this really "Toddo" Aurello who was also Sammy Gravano's capo at the time? She recounts that around 1977 (when Louis was made) that Sammy suddenly started bossing him around whereas before they were equals in dealings. It was around this time that Gravano took over Aurello's crew after Aurello retired, so this would make sense.
If this is true, then another Gambino mobster she renames "Bobby Lima" who was the father to another crew member. I'm gonna take a wild guess that this is a reference to Joseph D'Angelo and his son, Joseph D'Angelo Jr.?
I have to wonder if Milito was a Columbo associate before switching to the Gambinos. He was a Ramper and they seemed to be hooked up with the Colombos. Lynda Milito states that he was at the Columbus Square rally where Joe Colombo got shot, yet most sources I've read said that the Gambinos had ordered everyone associated with them to stay away from the Italian-American League and Columbus Square rally by that time. Him being there wouldn't make sense if he was with the Gambinos.
As close as he was with Gravano, I wonder if he was originally with the Colombos and switched over when Gravano did.
This life of ours, this is a wonderful life. If you can get through life like this, hey, thats great. But it's very, very unpredictable. There are so many ways you can screw it up.-Paul Castellano (he would know)

Louie Milito was originally with John rizzo Sr John Rizzo's Capo was Toddo Aurello That's how Sammy got transferred Later on Sammy helped milito get made because John Rizzo wouldn't propose anyone around him So anyways Sammy carried there water and Louie, Rizzo jr and Aurello Jr all got made Is John Rizzo is Romona's dad ? If so we never hear about him.
