la louisiane, if im not mistaken didn't les miles win a national champion a few years back. you've only won three in your history, 1958, [ paul dietzel} 2003,{ nick saban} and 2007 { les miles} you want to win another one you better hope les stays. there only going to get better.

You need to check out Miles' track record at LSU. He won the NC with Saban's recruits. We have been in a steady decline since then.

I'm over it man. Miles straight up out-thinks himself.

When we were legit we were a "power I" down the field smash mouth team. Now with an offense like that all you need is a drop back pocket passer to make a few passes now and then to mix things up.

Miles has this vision that he is going to create this "Super Offense" with a multi dimensional QB. Problem with that is the clowns we draft think they are Michael Vick and get their asses handed to them.

Also, I'm not impressed with Fournette. He has one move, downfield. He can't shake a tackler to save his life like Hill could and he doesn't have burst power.

Yea just goes to show you these recruiting services are not always right with the "can't miss" recruits like Fournette. Of course he could become a beast before he leaves but you just never know.

I just don't get why everyone wants a dual threat anymore. You have to have an offense like A&M or Auburn for that to even work. Hell we even turned Blake Sims into a passer who will only run when there is just nothing there. LSU would have been much better off with another big kid like Mett that can sling it to keep defenses honest. That QB y'all have is going to hurt y'all all year in my opinion.

im calling two upsets Saturday, Stanford over notre dame. and lsu over auburn, how good will miles look if he beats auburn, Georgias still got a good shot to take the sec. improvement n georges defence is coming, theve only two tough games left. Missouri and auburn, watch georgia be the big surprise. and watch Mississippi fight the tide down to the last minute, could be upset of year, don't forget the tide is on the road. could be a lot of money bet on Mississippi.

Thats unfair and untrue. Miles has done an outstanding job at LSU. He's lost more underclassmen to the NFL in the past three years than any other school. (Its catching up to him this year) Also dont forget his team that lost to bama in the bcsncg went 13 - 0 beating oregon alabama florida Arkansas west virginia auburn and everyone else on their schedule before they had to play alabama in a rematch. And as far as him winning a nc with Sabans players thats a tired old cliche and complete bullshit. Take it easy on Miles youre lucky to have him.

Well we blew our game against Ole Miss after leading 14-3 at the half. Auburn straight demolished LSU.

Drake getting hurt took out the package of plays for him in the game plan. That hurt and made saban revert to his old form of conservatively pounding it between the tackles. Also I think sims arm or shoulder was worse than they let on they never stretched the field. Oh well I didnt need that 100 anyway I loaded up on Baylor.

well, this has nothing to do with the sec, but, the usc -asu game left me scratching my head. asu scored 3 tds in the last 3 minutes, the last one a hail mary with no time on the clock, its going to take a while to get over this one, asim an usc fan,

As LSU Alumni I believe the man gotta go. It's what's best for the university not whats best for the team. We have been in a steady downfall since our loss to Bama in the NC and can no longer compete with the lower tier teams in the SEC. Dixie, yall gonna kill us lol

No longer compete in the lower level of the conference? Really? Do you have an example? Beat florida in florida last night. Youre entitled to your opinion I just disagree. Their recruiting class (fornette duprey harris etc al) was 2nd in the nation last year. They're just young theyll be right back in the mix next year.

If we don't get our QB situation fixed we are screwed too. I agree LSU is very young this year with so many declaring for the draft last year and graduation I figured they would be like this.

But what has most pissed at Les is the fact Saban has come in and seem to have started cherry picking some of the top talent out of Louisiana. Used to when Saban was at Louisiana you didn't waste your damn time in Louisiana as you knew they were a lock for LSU and they REALLY stayed in state back then. Now you have no idea as we got Cam Robinson and had a battle for Fournette and we also stole Cam Sims out of there too not to mention the past few years as well.

Blake Sims flat out stunk it up for the 2nd week in a row. I say it's time to at least open the competition up as he seemed to play better when Coker was still in the mix. Saban needs to do something to wake their ass up!

Its a new world son check out Alabama recent recruiting classes they're from about 15 different states now. These 5 star kids look at two things #1 who can prepare and get them to the league in three years #2 they look at rosters ie playing time. NFW was fornette going to alabama with yeldon henry and drake all ready there. (Not to mention tenpenny jones etc al) I also agree sims is struggling alabama could lose 2 more games if they dont fix the offense. Shoulda coulda lost yesterday.

gram6814, couple of squeakers yesterday. Alabama, and lsu. the tide so lucky to get by Arkansas. and lsu 3 seconds left before kicking a 5o yarder. maybe those lsu fans will get off miles now. as for Alabama. saban better get them clicking.

I hear ya. Saban is teflon their fan base and boosters wont criticise him even when its warranted. (They're 5 - 3 in their last 8 games could have been 3 - 5 with the best roster in cfb) the cache he carries is 3 ncs at bama that helps keep the wolves away. Miles gets no such slack with lsu fans. That sec west is the best fivision in all of sports its just brutal this year.

Well for one I'm not your son. For two look at LSU's classes and you'll see what I'm talking about. We steal 1-3 top recruits out of there every year now, when Saban was at LSU that would unheard of. Les can't hold his home state, eventually it will cost him his job. You just don't understand how diehard they are there, they are a lot like we are in Alabama. Yea Bama had all these RB's but by next year we could have a True Freshman #2 on the depth chart as Yeldon is going pro, Drake is coming off injury and Henry is the only guaranteed back to be returning. That's how quick you can lose depth at any position.

Georgia is still weak. South Carolina is terrible and they beat Georgia. Lets not forget Mizzou also lost to a horrible Indiana team at home as well so that win does nothing for me.

You have never been to Alabama then. He gets calls on his weekly call in show and after games like this he regularly gets criticized.

As LaLou said if Miles didn't win that title with Saban recruits he gets fired last year. Even the year he went undefeated until he played us again he was only undefeated because Bama misses the field goals in the game in Tuscaloosa.

As a gambler im not driven by emotion like you are. I get that. But again its complete bullshit that he won with sabans recruits. Its also a joke the 9 - 6 game was only because alabama missed fgs. Go look back at the distances of those kicks. Complete bullshit he was ever in danger of getting fired. Hes gotten two raises ans wxtensoons because they were afraid he was foing to michigan.

Again you're clouded by emotion "die hard" saban never lost one Louisiana kid when he was at lsu? Laughable. As far as bama rb depth Drake could come back scarboro is in the program as is tenpenny and jones but yes a fresh could by #2 next year that's possible just not probable. Listen to gamblers kid they know more than diehardd do.

Emotion has nothing to do with it. Two of those kicks were makeable.

Scarbrough IS NOT in the program. He did not qualify and will enroll in January as he is making up classes. Drake is a big question mark as it depends on how he heals and when he does will be 100% when he comes back. It will be Henry and the rest is yet to be decided. Also there was rumors that Drake was going pro after the season anyways and there is still that chance now that he was hurt and don't tell me that will stop him, Vinnie Sunseri left after tearing his ACL and was drafted by the Saints so year it can happen. There is a good chance Scarbrough jumps both Jones and Tenpenny.

As for the LSU and Louisiana comment yes you DID NOT see 2-3 top players in Louisiana every year leaving the state. If Saban went after them they were locks for LSU back then. You can go back and look at the ones that stayed out of trouble or had question marks and show me one TOP RECRUIT that left the state under his reign. I'm betting you can't. When he was there he owned Louisiana and Mobile areas and now Les can't even own his own state. Noil went to A&M, Robinson and Sims left for Bama. That doesn't even mention Willis and years like when Collins left for Bama as well. They would have been for sure LSU locks back in the day. You don't understand because you've never been there but since you "bet" you know more than we do? Get real.

There is not anything you can tell me about Bama that I don't already know dude. You already thought Scarbrough was in the program when he isn't. rolleyes

Wheres eli manning from? How about the running back from nola that went to usc he was the #1 recruit in the nation. There's two for you and hundreds of others left la for other sec and other schools while saban was at lsu. Scarboro went to north ridge grew up in Tuscaloosa and was never not going to Alabama. Hes basically been "in the program" since 8th grade.

Your points about miles are laughable as with most die hards opinions. Hes gotten two raises two extensions and would have won a 2nd nc if okla state doesnt choke on that thursday night game at iowa state. Oh and which two fgs were makeable in the 9 - 6 game? How many other 48 yarders did foster make that year?

Binnie uga is at arkansas this week 2nd week in a row on the road. Arkansas will be a live dog careful there. Alabama hosts a+m they'll be a two td favorite at home. Uga is not the top ranked sec team miss st is #1 I'll suspect and ole miss #3 both ranked ahead of them (bama and all barn prolly are too)

dixiemafia. whats going to happen when you play lsu? auburn? Mississippi state? Georgia has an easy schedule compared to your tide.

Notre dame gets waxed Saturday in Tallahassee. I think usc is a year or two away from competing for a nc like the caroll years. I like sarkisian but the sanctions of lost schlorships still hurt their overall depth to this day. Its also not helping usc recruiting that mora is at UCLA.
