I keep seeing a few fleeting references to a 2010 mob summit but can't find anything on it. Anyone have any information.??

There was a part where Gambino was talking privately with Skins in the bathroom and said there really wasn't anything they could do for the philly guys. It was on one of those audio recordings that were on PACER.

In 2010 wasn't that panel with Gambino on it running the family? Or was Dom the boss already? Not sure.

Cefalu was identified as the boss in 2011.

Mods should mind their own business and leave poster's profile signatures alone.

Cefalu was identified as the boss in 2011.


Was he thought to have become the boss the same year or is 2011 when he was id'd as the boss? Just wondering if it's known when Cefalu actually started running things. thanks.

July 2011 was when he was publically identified as the boss. He was released from prison in November 2009. Not sure how long he was on supervised release. I don't recall any of the articles about him ever becoming boss specifically mentioning when it happened.
