in canada everybody got their own clan the sicilians, calabrians,etc. the question is do fences make for good neighbors?

The two don't even compare a biker just wants to ride while a mobster does his criminal activities. A biker club has more brotherhood than a mafia organization.

Not really.I was raised around bikers my whole life.its just like any group of friends.some are closer then others.that brotherhood stuff is bs tho

If you're referring to the outlaw motorcycle gangs,it's really two different things, In the Mob world,you get made because of your earning and killing abilities. The whole existence and sole purpose of the Mafia is to make money from crime.

In the biker world,although many members are involved in illegal activity,it's not a prerequisite for getting patched.
In both cases loyalty and silence are prized,but you see violations of the codes of honor.It happens less frequently in the biker world,but it does happen.

Lastly,outlaw bikers create much more fear among outsiders than the mob does,due to the fact that they are absolutely ruthless and fearless,and will attack anyone,anywhere,whether or not there is a good reason.

A biker gang is a group of guys who hang out together and commit crimes.

The LCN is a group of guys who hang out together TO commit crimes.

But the mob has desophisticated alot in the past decade or two while some biker gangs have stepped up their rackets. So they really are becoming similar.

As for good fences, as a socially able yet introverted dude I'd definitely say yes.

The mafia is much more like the government than biker gangs.

drugs = FDA, CIA
gambling = casinos, lottery
extortion = taxes, fees, fines
contract killings = wars for corporations and Israel

The government doesn't like competition, so they busted up the mafia.

In new england lcn uses bikers hells angels as debt collectors... there closely alligned. there also into the labor/union rackets together.
