I was reading that Moreno Gallo who is a money man for the Rizzuto family is incarcerated for a old 1973 murder of a local drug dealer part of his release from life imprisonment was for him to not involve with known criminals. Since he broke that he violated his parole. What, I am wondering since he has been back in jail the last two years and is considered an Italian Citizen and not a Canadian if hes not deported will he serve the remainder of life in prison? Moreno is fighting extradition to Italy. Just wondering does anyone have more intel on this?
I think your info is a little outdated. And that's an understatement. Gallo had left Canada almost two years ago. He was paroled in the early 1980s and it wasn't until the 2000s that the Canadian authorities discovered that he wasn't a Canadian citizen and started to have him deported. Gallo was jailed in late 2011 for violating his parole, and also because it was said that his life was in danger. Almost immediately after being released Gallo voluntarily left Canada for Italy. It's been reported that he's currently residing in Mexico and that he wants to return to Canada.
