Imagine that I'd reply to your message as follows:

"Thank you very much indeed for your extremely courteous and thoughtful contribution. Repetition and masterly executed quoting did help a lot in getting its meaning across."

Now, it wouldn't be completely right to take those words at their face value, would it? In my opinion, Neri's words fall into the same category, that's all.

Best regards.

Alexander

That makes total sense... Michael was incredibly smart! Any Don would have to be.

Hmmmm, aren't we sensitive. Do you think Michael is as sensitive as you are? Perhaps this is why you believe that Michael was hurt to the point that he would kill someone because they abruptly ended the meeting.

I would be surprised if you knew the meaning of the words at face value. Sorry, for being so brash. It goes with my line of work. No hard feelings, huh?

Full of "cunning", I start quietly unscrewing the bulb. lol

Seriously, though, sensitivity does not have anything to do with this. It's purely business: an open rebellion must be cruelly punished. Frankie's future trip to Rosato Bros was a part of Mike's plan - sure, whom else would he send there - and so he called his hounds back.

Best regards.

Alexander

Yeah, ok. So it was just to make everything sure.

Why taking the risk that the $2 million is lost. He could easily have tapped off the phone calls from the house of Fredo (as Sonny did with Paulie Gatto in GF 1). Then he also found out who the traitor was. Remember the call to Fredo's house from (I think ) Ola?

BTW What is IMO? I read it a lot on this board and still don't understand it.
