http://www.usatoday.com/story/life/tv/2013/07/22/dennis-farina-dies-at-69/2575117/I especially liked him in Crime Story, though a bit corny by today's standards, I think that tv-show started my fascination with the mob and 1950s-60s era.He played mobsters Jimmy Serrano on Midnight Run and Albert Lombard on Miami Vice.
This life of ours, this is a wonderful life. If you can get through life like this, hey, thats great. But it's very, very unpredictable. There are so many ways you can screw it up.-Paul Castellano (he would know)

I loved Dennis Farina in Crime Story. Yet another great show that NBC destroyed. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WhBM9xxkiFAHere's the title credits -- I have the poster in my office with Torello and his crew posed in front of the diner, with the blue and pink neon in the background. So dark, and so cool. And this -- the first five minutes of Crime Story...him threatening the one crook to kill the thing he loved the most. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nQS16P2m2Lc
