Superman And Batman Movie Headed Your Way In 2015!

SAN DIEGO — Something super this way comes: Batman and Superman will team up on the big screen for a movie in 2015, Warner Bros. announced this afternoon at San Diego Comic-Con."Man of Steel" director Zack Snyder took the stage for a surprise announcement at the tail end of the joint Warner Bros./Legendary Pictures preview panel."There's been a lot of speculation about what we're doing," he said, after thanking fans for their support. "It is official that we are going to make another Superman movie."

"You guys may ask what is the movie about," he teased. "The truth is you don't want me to tell you what the movie is about, right?"He called Harry Lennix, who played General Swanwick in "Man of Steel," to the stage for the big reveal, because "his voice is just way better than mine." Lennix took to a spotlit podium to read a passage from "Batman vs. Superman," a scene in which Batman has just tangled with Superman."I want you to remember, Clark," Lennix read. "In all the years to come, and all your most private moments, I want you to remember my hand at your throat. I want you to remember the one man who beat you."

All five of the massive screens in Hall H, which held approximately 6,000 screaming fans, lit up with a greyscale Superman S, with Batman's signature winged silhouette soon stacking behind it.Singer stressed before the passage that the script for the film is not yet complete and that they're not adapting "Batman vs. Superman," but that the passage would "help tell that story.""Man of Steel" star Henry Cavill is expected to once again don the red and blue suit and cape, but expect a fresh face to step into the role of Batman. (Whether his suit will come with nipples included or not is TBD.) Christian Bale, who starred in Christopher Nolan's "Dark Knight" trilogy, has repeatedly insisted that he won't play Batman in future flicks.David Goyer, who wrote "Man of Steel," will reportedly return as screenwriter for the new movie.But wait, there's more! A "Flash" movie is reportedly slated for 2016, and DC's response to "Marvel's The Avengers," "Justice League," following in 2017.

Don't like this. Those two are the only superheroes I really give a hoot about and there's no need for this crossover nonsense.

Ya i thought it was a joke when i saw the headline, but dont worry it says not until 2015 plenty of time for it to fall apart.

Really I thought you folks who ate up MAN OF STEEL would be all for this?

Honestly I'm more interested in the other blockbuster cross-over superhero movie in summer 2015: AVENGERS 2. In fact I would be shocked if AVENGERS 2 isn't better than [whatever title used for Batman/Superman.]

Speaking of which, Ultron was announced as the villain for that film. The movie will be titled THE AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON.

I get why they're doing it. But money doesn't mean it's a good idea from a creative/quality standpoint. But we are talking Hollywood here.

The way I see it, in Superman's world, no other superhero exists. Same for Batman in his world. They'r two titans that don't knee to become sidekicks.

The batman and superman movies are mostly liked by children reason while there is no natural scene in it. All things are happen in these movies are not possible in real life.

It sounds fun.

I wished he directing the movie instead of acting in it.

He is definitely a better director than actor.

Last year I saw the Batman film from 1989 with Michael Keaton in it. I was shocked at how good he was in that role. I only knew of him from comedies, and was expecting him to be awful in that part. Jack Nicholson was good as The Joker, but no where near as good as Heath Ledger was.

Well, you're half right. Keaton was great as Batman. But, while Ledger did a great job, Nicholson was the better Joker.

I like Ben Affleck, so I have no problems with him as the Caped Crusader!!

Justice league film might get funded if this goes well
