This is just silly IMO. It doesn't matter who is in office or what ever gun laws they make. Guns on the street are easily obtained by criminals. It's a non issue. These laws only make it difficult for law abiding citizens to bear arms.

There are less mob murders in New York for the same reason there are less mob murders everywhere else. It has no baring on the membership of the New York families, which is well documented. And, considering the relatively big recruiting pool available in the tri-state area, the likes of which can be found nowhere else in the country, they can maintain their sizes without making "literally anybody and everybody."
