seen that the Mafia because of Rico, had to reduce violence, after September 11, how many Mafia murders have there been? not only in the 5 families, but also outside NY.

What does 9/11 have to do with RICO or gun violence?

It's not because of 9/11 its because of strict gun legislation enacted by Obama. The Chicago street gangs have really had to reduce their violence as well due to the limited availability of firarms.

I think Lawrence Ricci was killed in 05. He was a genovese captain in nj if I'm not mistaken.

This is just silly IMO. It doesn't matter who is in office or what ever gun laws they make. Guns on the street are easily obtained by criminals. It's a non issue. These laws only make it difficult for law abiding citizens to bear arms.

Absolutely nothing. After the Luccheses finished the Amuso-Casso era, the Colobmos finished their war, and Gotti was sent to prison, the families all decided to cut down on murders because of the heat and long prison sentences leading to rats.

Damn that sum it up great lists.

From now on, nothing goes down unless I'm involved. No blackjack no dope deals, no nothing. A nickel bag gets sold in the park, I want in. You guys got fat while everybody starved on the street. Now it's my turn.

Reviewing the AM listings, you could also add Paul Maiorana (2000), Dino Boggino (2002), Joseph Mazzotta (2003), John Gurino (2003), Vincent DeVito (2003), Gary Westerman (2003), and Charlie Moretto (2003).

I would think the ny mafia would have more murders seeing they have 5 mobs

I tend to think the number of made guys in new York is a little exaggerated

they would have to make literally anybody and everybody to keep up with those numbeers

There are less mob murders in New York for the same reason there are less mob murders everywhere else. It has no baring on the membership of the New York families, which is well documented. And, considering the relatively big recruiting pool available in the tri-state area, the likes of which can be found nowhere else in the country, they can maintain their sizes without making "literally anybody and everybody."

if they're making people just to maintain their size then they're making undeserving gusy

Yes, cook, we know. Meanwhile, Chicago only makes guys that truly deserve it. rolleyes

Of course, that won't keep it from dying off a lot sooner than any of the NY families.
