I'm a big reader and enjoy just about anything. Of course, LCN books are hands down my favorite. I own about 20-25 books in my collection of LCN books. Hands down my favorite has to be The Sixth Family by Lee Lamothe. If you haven't read this book I suggest you order it now online, because its pretty difficult to find on the shelves. Atleast, for me it was difficult to locate and after my many attempts to find it I just ordered off Amazon and had it overnight end because my patience had ceased in trying to locate it.

Anyone here had the privilege of reading this amazing book? If so what did you think?

Got it. Badass book as well. I'm a big fan of that as well and The Outfit by Gus Russo. I for one though find The Rizzuto's to be one of the most fascinating Crime Families of all time. Any ideas or opinion on who had been clipping them off over the past few years?

The way i understand it, it was 3 people attempting a coup, joe dimaulo reynald dejardins and salvatore montagna(former acting bonnano boss)and they started taking vitos top guys on the street, his father and son and caruna. Then there was an enternal dispute and desjardins had montagna killed, desjardins got arrested for the murder and vito had dimaulo whacked. So it looks like vito is back on top and theres not much of a threat left.

See I played that same scenario out in my kind as well and I think that's probably the closest to actuality. But I also have heard and kind of think myself that its quite possibly Ndrangheta which are out of Toronto. Their are from what I've researched 6-7 clans in Toronto who have taken control of the drug market these days in the majority of Canada and have been directly linked to Cartels and even this guy they just picked up in Colombia who is basically the broker for cocaine and also a big time boss in the Ndrangheta. The Rizzuto's have had far back rivalries with Calabrians. I don't know though, I would say your opinion is the most likely but this Ndrangheta scenario I feel is also very possible.

Not to say Ndrangheta is out of Toronto. I should've made that more clear. The Ndrangheta clans that are in Toronto.

Right the ndrangheta clans in toronto are called the siderno group, and yes ive heard the theroies about there involment in the montreal situation, and it would be interesting if it was them making a move on vito, but ive just havnt seen evidence at all that says its anything more than just a theory.

They say that the first thing Vito did when he came out of jail was going to Toronto to meet some important people there . I'm pretty sure that he got a green light to ''clean'' the streets of Montreal . With the Montagna hit and the Desjardins bust , Vito got back from jail at a very good time . I'm sure that nobody have forgotten how good he ran the whole organization before he went to jail (because he got ratted) . When the Rizzutos were running the show the bussiness was very good and everybody made good money .

Who's not to say this Siderno group is sitting back and seeing who's coming out on top. I'm sure before they make a move they want to see the main guy Vito Rizzuto and how he responds and contains all the last couple years of bullshit that's happened to his family. So far Vito looks like he's taking control.
