It's the original HEAT...on a low budget.

1989 tv movie L.A. Takedown, written and directed by Michael Mann. In 1995 Mann remade the tv movie L.A. Takedown into a big budget movie and changed the name of it to HEAT. It's the same movie with actors alot less talented then were in the movie HEAT, but it's still pretty cool to watch.

It's practically identical to HEAT.

Saw this a few years ago. The parallels are interesting. I'm glad Mann decided to do a big budget movie version later on. Heat just may be the greatest movie ever.

Heat with Pacino, DeNiro, Kilmer, and them was for sure one of my all time favorites
