I'm italian and I live in the Bronx. After watching the godfather and goodfellas, I decided I want to pursue a career in the mafia. Street guys like JoeRusso and Skinny, how do I become a made guy?

This post does raise somewhat of an interesting question. I wonder if it would even be possible to set out to get 'made' these days, in many cities?

A guy like Tony Spilotro wanted to be a gangster... there was kind of a clear path to the top, so to speak.

Today in Chicago?

I'm guessing it would be borderline impossible, even if they are still 'making' guys.

I guess your best in would be to try to start a really big sportsbook in their terriroty and hope they came to you.

It's not like you could walk up to a known guy and say 'I wanna get in the juice loan business.'
