What do you think the odds are that mobsters ( the younger , more tech savy ones anyway) frequent websites like these , just out of curiosity or whatever? Wasnt there a guy who claimed to be connected from Kansas on here? I get a laugh out of imagining these guys skimming (lol) through these forums reading about themselves , blowing a gasket at some of the shit thats said on here.

You ever google your own name? Yes, ill say for a fact guys, and older ones too know about these places, buts its more their kids that get up in arms about the shit being said here

I think they check daily the FBI news page to know if they're not on the wanted listed suddenly

Believe it or not, but mobsters are human beings as well and most of them have an internet connection just like the rest of us.

Apparantly Vito Rizzuto was subscribed to Capeci's Ganglandnews and readings the latest articles (particulary involving the Bonannos) when he got up in the morning at 11 o'clock was one of his habits.

I think they avoid internet. It would just leave a trail for law to follow.

It happens for sure...most are at least concerned with their "press" in general.

A LOT of guys check out ganglandnews...the Philly guys check out George Anastasia, one in particular was quite upset that he did not correct a transcription of the Nicky Skins tapes that was shown to be incorrect.

Ive actually been wondering the same thing, if mobsters actually come on here and read what is said. I google my name all the time. as well as any organized crime member that I want to know more about. alot of times forums like this show up. thats actually how I found out about this site.

Im sure some of them do. Especially the younger ones. Joey Merlino and alot of the philly guys are younger and probably have been on this exact forum. there was actually one guy claiming to be Damion Canalichio's brother but who knows how much truth was to it
