I just found out that John Imparato, a one-time owner of stevedoring companies in New York and Tampa died on March 20. he was 93.

He was investigated and called before a grand jury in the late 60s, into the early 70s, for ties to the Mafia. Specifically he employed Profaci/Colombo capo Harry Fontana at his Tampa port company Southport Terminals. He was also the president of Southport Stevedore, which was owned for many years by Tampa mobster Ciro Bedami.
