New show just started here, all about the life and times of Toto Riina. Italian show with subtitles and such but it looks fairly good. Anyone else seen this?

Is it the same one as "Il capo dei capi" shown in Italy?

2) "Get out of here, old man. Go tell Raymond to go shit in his hat. We're not giving you anything."

Saw it some time ago and didn't like it. I don't recall everything but IMHO it was too romanticizing and the 'friend' from Corleone (the good guy) should have been killed and fed to the pigs in the first episode.
Also things were changed as far as I can remember (and know): 'La Matanza de Viale Lazio' for example. That pissed me off.
And Riina, especially with his bad make-up to make him look older, reminded me too much of a certain porn-actor whose name I can't recall at the moment.

I just didn't like him. He keeps coming back with his stupid moustache, urealistically surviving everything.

I'm disappointed this serie still isn't available in HD. Being released in 2007, it should have.

I have just recently found about this series and am mildly curious, it sounds as though people do not enjoy the series, but that does not throw me off luckily.

I recently watched this series and thought it was pretty good myself. Would of been even better if i understood italian but even with the english subtitles i still thought it was really good.

I liked it, but honestly thought the subplot with the childhood friend who became a cop really dragged things down. More Riina and less moralizing about the hardships of being an honest cop in a crooked city would have turned this into a really great mini-series.
