I'm watching the Sons of ANarchy episode ''Andare Pescare'',and I'm thinking there are mob active crews in Nevada?
And in your opinion on who is based the Caccuzza family?

Tommy Shots: They want me running the family, don't they know I have a young wife?
Sal Vitale: (laughs) Tommy, jump in, the water's fine.

All the casino's on the strip are commercial. Therefore, whatever mob activity that does go down in Nevada is probably off the strip or in surrounding cities in Nevada. I went to a gas station about 50 miles south of Vegas and there were slots. But the whole state is peppered with Casino's.

I don't think there's any actual mob crews left in Nevada. The Las Vegas Sun did a story on the mob in Vegas back in 2000 and even then there were only about a dozen mob guys still living there. Probably less now. The mob's bookmaking networks still extend out there but, other than that, there hasn't been much in the way of activity in recent years.
