The Beverly Hills mansion that was Hollywood Movie Producer Jack Woltz's home in The Godfather is for sale. You can buy it for 115 million (or rent for 600k a month). Horse head not included.

Technically, the horse head scene did not take place inside this mansion, but in another house in New York that served as the mansion's interior.

I just looked it up and you are correct. According to one site the scenes were shot at the Guggenheim Estate on Long Island.
