NEWSPAPER COVER GILLIGAN PRISON
GERALDINE & TRACEY GILLIGAN HIS OLD GANG

~SCHEMING GILLIGAN PLOTTING HIS EVIL EMPIRE'S RETURN~

From his prison lair, one man has regarded the choas regining over gangland in 2012 with interest.
If theres one thing "John Factory John Gilligan" knows, its how to how to spot the kind of vacuum he last filled with after the death of "Martin The General Cathill".
In turn, generations of young criminals rushed to replace gilligans evil empire when it collapsed following the death of "Veronica Guerin".But now one of the most callous and evil crime lords ever to ever stalk gangland is set to be released this august of this year into an underworld that is tearing itself apart.
Gardai believe gilligan will be dreaming of rebuilding his empire from the ashes of a 16-year jail sentence - if he can survive long enough to do it.
Gilligan has so many enemies that he is going to watch his every move after he gets out of jail, but officers believe that the smug drug lord has been nurturing a thriving business behind bars.

2. ~Chaotic~

He is delighted he will be returning to a chaotic gangland, with criminal gangs (DEALERS) and the real IRA (RIRA) at war,as he believes it will reestablish himself as a major player.Gilligan has been monitioring the market from his prison cell, and has told cohorts that the real money is in heroin & cannabis business.
Gardai are covinced that gilligan squirrled away a fortune in alicante in spain where his wife geraldine and daughter tracey run the "Judge Chambers Pub".
At one point the criminal assets burea (C.A.B) officers, assisted by the gardai bureau of fraud investigation (G.B.F.I.) identified a string of properties and businesses, including a the pub, five warehouses, two boats, six houses, two motor bikes and a construction firm, that they believed were owned by the drugs lord.
However none were linked directly to his name and they couldnt be seized, officers who investigated the five foot thug for years believe that was only the tip of the iceberg and that gilligan had laundered countless millions that they couldnt identify.
Sunday world sources revealed last month how gilligan old lieutenant, "PAUL HIPPO WARD" has now established himself as a major player in the dublin drug markets, paving the way for his old boss to return from exile.
Gardai believe ward is buying cannabis directly from 61-year old "George The Penguin Mitchill" who two years ago moved from amsterdam to morocco.
"Troy Jordan" one of gilligans main allies is also behind a thriviving drug business and officers believe that gilligan hidden fortunes have financed both businesses.
While younger players on the drug scene believe gilligan is a washed up has-been,veteran officers and gangland sources have told sunday world that he is still a force to be reckoned with and has spent time in his prison cell plotting and planning his return to the top of the drugs ladder.'
Never underestimate john gilligan a source has told us',he has had a snug smile on his face for a long time now and thats not because its the end of his time served in prison he will begin to try to prove he is still a force to be reckoned with,'he thinks all his christmas's have come at once with the disorganised mess that is sweeping through the underworld at the moment,he feels it couldnt have come at a better time'.
The gilligan gang made millions during the end of 1990's,but fell apart in spectacular style after he ordered the murder of veronica guerin crime jourinlist,A massive gardai investigation led to the dismantling of his gang and the jailing of "Brian The Tosser Meehan" & "Paul Hippo Ward" for the murder.
Ward had his conviction overturned on appeal after the court ruled the state relied too heavily on evidence of "Rat Charlie Bowden",meehan is currently appealing his conviction on the same grounds.
Ward, however had to serve up to 12 years in prison for part in the 1999 siege of "Mountjoy Prison",where criminals headed by "Warren Dumbrell" held prison officers hostage with blood filled syringes.

3. ~Difficult~

Ward was released in 2005,but found it difficult to get back in with major criminals due to his links to gilligan and the guerin killing, which resulted in the established of C.A.B.
In recent years however ward is believed to have broken back into the drugs world with finances suspected to be gilligans, and has built up a strong links with hardened criminals and suppliers particularly the reclusive mitchell.
Mitchell now has two main associates who are based between ireland and turkey.
They are "Gerald Hopkins" & "Stephen Kearney",hopkins has made a settlement with C.A.B., while a registered judgment was made against kearney in april 2011 for $686,135.00.
Hopkins who is alos a close associate of "Gerry The Monk Hutch" recently held a big party for his 50th birthday party.
Sunday world published photos of the monk which showed he had clearly fallen of the wagon.
Sources say hopkins has no prior convictions for drug related charges, but has remained very close to mitchell over the years.
Gilligan has always planned to move out to spain on his release where he is expected to launch himself straight back into the only business he only knows.
The crime lord has cost the state millions fighting C.A.B. through the courts as the bureau attempted to seize his jessbrook equestrian centre.
The judges chambers was orginally owned by "Liam Judge"- a gilligan associate who was his daughters tracey lover died from a heart attack in 2004 aged at just 47-years old and the pub was left to tracey, dispite no official will being made.

4. ~Extradition~

Judge had acted as gilligans moneyman in alicante.
He was a regular vistor to gilligan while he was imprisioned in belmarsh prison awaiting extradation for the veronica guerin murder.
It was there officers believe that he gave judge access to foreign accounts holding millions in drug money.
Gilligan always denied that he had anything to do with the familys assets in spain.
At one point he declared 'My ex wife and my daughter are running a bar in spain,i dont know were exactly as i have never been to the country in my life, but i think its 50 minutes outside of alicante, its a nice pub,run honestly'.
However gardai are under the illusion that he has continued to manage his criminal empire from behind bars and is in prime position to get back to business.
As one veteran officer said' He is a smug, greedy bastard with no intension of retiring graciously,he has a personality disorder and sees himself as better than everyone,he will be back fighting for his for his position'.
