What ever happened to the policy of "No Cops" meaning anyone who has taken a police exam or even has a close relative in law enforcement was barred from induction into the Anerican Mafia, Chicago and NY both have a history of using ex cops as hit men but I can think of at least three cases of actual made men. Ron Previte was made by that stunad Stanfa even though he was a former cop and he proceeded to flip, Sal Vitale underboss of the Bonnanos was a prison guard prior to him entering a life f crime yet he was made(It helps that the boss was his brother in law), and most recently Michael Uvino the Colombo LI capo regime who ran his crew out of the Sons of Italy club in happague who's dad Carmine was NYPD and testified as such in defense of his son at trial(The kids locked up,nice try though)

Chicago has kinda always had A history of having ex cops around.I can understand it being dumb but these guys are look st at it like this ex cop makes em look less like criminals them they are

Maybe having an ex cop can provide them some insight into police procedurals, how they operate, what their capabilities are...
