Andy's Colonial. I've talked about that place ad nauseam here. I ate there with my Dad and my Uncle almost every Friday for over twenty years. Of all the things I miss about old East Harlem, that place tops the list.

They held on for quite awhile after the neighborhood went Puerto Rican, though. Han only packed it in about ten or twelve years ago, and the neighborhood's been predominantly Latino for over thirty years. Maybe even longer than that.

Correct, it was on First, so you could always meter park heading uptown.

He would never have tried that...He'd be history...I think the old man thought it was only a matter of time before the kid gave him up to save his own azz and just went along with it !!

That's good info PB on Qd

He retired now outside of collecting some shy I'm sure

I know hudson county pretty well and he was a heavy w garbage and recycling in the area

To this day the county , CN still had a ton of sway in the business and people here

Would still recognize some of the names.

JC is the forgotten city that is still a huge earning city for some .

What a fuckhead for taking that heist $ from a members daughter tho

That's low if true

It works like a shape-up job. As a part-timer, you have to commit at least two felonies or five misdemeanors per month to qualify for benefits.

Without getting into the "Did he order the hit or didn't he?" argument - though I personally don't think it's that unbelievable - it's always been amusing to me how only with the thought that he could have ordered his son killed do many on these forums suddenly think a guy like Cirillo is a cold blooded gangster. As if he wasn't before his kid disappeared. God only knows how many murders Cirillo was involved in, on one level or another, before that.

But, to play devil's advocate, in a twisted kind of way in a mob context, wouldn't one have to give Cirillo credit for making that kind of call? After all, isn't one of the things these guys make an oath to is that the LCN comes before everything else, including their family?

Mods should mind their own business and leave poster's profile signatures alone.

Well, that I agree with. And I'm always chiding the guys who believe that "they only kill each other," and all of that other Mario Puzo nonsense.

And you know where I stand on Nick's disappearance, so there's no sense in going back and forth on it again. But this was a very dangerous guy regardless of what happened to his son.

I know this is a dead horse topic on here, but I have never really chimed in, because what would I know..

but either way ..its kind of a head scratcher ...no?

A) he looked the other way and said OK or b) they didn't get his OK , and he doesn't avenge his own son? I mean supposedly there aren't any guys around with more clout than he has...

but like somebody said I guess it's not for the world to know

I know its dead horse but one more kick, who would have the balls to kill the acting boss of the westsides kid. never has a unmade son of a boss been killed and made son killed is probably sal testa in philly. bad English. shamm11375 im going with A. I wonder why chin didn't appoint him the new boss and why he died not appointing one. whats the point of all the shit he did not to name a successor. but then again we never really know how vito Genovese appointed his next boss after he died in prison.

Nice one Dom, didn't know that. haven't read up too much on the Genovese family tbh.
