I am really disappointed by the news. Then again, there would have been more weak points to have it destroyed lol.

A fun fact I learned online: about 850 cities have streets named after Martin Luther King. Most of any person.

(But is this true?)

HA! sad but true!

PRICELESS!!!

I finally received my tax return for 2011 back from the IRS. It puzzles me!!!
They are questioning how many dependents I claimed.
I guess it was because of my response to the question:
"List all dependents."
I replied: 12 million illegal immigrants;
3 million crack heads;
42 million people on food stamps,
2 million people in over 243 prisons; and
535 persons in the U.S. House and Senate, plus
1 useless President."
Evidently, this was NOT an acceptable answer.

I KEEP ASKING MYSELF, WHO DID I MISS?

Funny coincidence, I'm working on a cable job from Jersey City to Newark and I happened to have the Newark map open. We're entering on Harrison Ave from Harrison we hit Bridge St, turn left on Broad St, past Washington Pl, Central Ave, New St, W. Park St, Cedar St (tree), Raymond Blvd (everybody loves him), Academy St, Bank St, Commerce St, Clinton St, Market St, Edison Pl....... Mr. Skinny must be talking about another part of Newark. whistle

When will this BS stop? I don't care what party does it... this is ridiculous.

Quote:
President Barack Obama will fly over 9 hours tomorrow, round-trip from Washington, D.C. to Las Vegas, Nevada, just to deliver a speech on immigration, according to the president's White House schedule. With Air Force One estimated to cost $182,000 per hour in flight, Obama's trip--that is, only his travel to and from Vegas--will cost taxpayers over $1.6 million.

"In the morning, the President will depart the White House en route Las Vegas, Nevada. The departure from the South Lawn and the arrival at McCarran International Airport are open press," the president's schedule reads.

"While in Las Vegas, the President will deliver remarks on the need to fix the broken immigration system so that it is fairer for and helps grow the middle class by ensuring everyone plays by the same rules. The President's remarks at Del Sol High School are open to pre-credentialed media.

"In the evening, the President will depart Las Vegas, Nevada en route Washington, DC. The departure from McCarran International Airport and the arrival on the South Lawn are open press."

I ignore politics for days and miss that CPAC snubbed Christie because he's "too moderate." (Hey remember last year when those same people wished he ran for President or Romney had picked him for running mate? Wow times change.)

I'll repeat what I said before: Of the names mentioned so far for '16, Christie is the one the Democrats should worry about the most if you ask me. But this nonsense is bad news for the idiots in the base who didn't learn from last year, and might force Christie to go far to his right for '16. (Then again that worked wonders for Willard, didn't it?)

But potentially good news of course for the Democrats. It always helps when your enemy is fighting itself.

RR,

Surprises me too. I would think Christie as a frontrunner for the Rs next election. Their guest list include, Mitt Romney, Alan West & Sarah Palin. uhwhat lol

BUT, let's not forget, in 4 years a whole lot can happen. I'm guessing somebody will come out of the shadows in the next year or so and take the lead.
