Who can forget Billy Veasey being shot down before his brother John testified. or Fat Pete Chiodo's sidter shot outside her home because Fat Pete was going to testify. Philly plays by crazy rules. Look at the hit that happened during this last trial. Their defense was the Mob of today was a gentler and less violent one and the hit happens. You can't make this shit up! Phil is a marked man and you are right as long as his Uncle breathes he is plotting revenge.Remember Scarfo sr has the backing of Amuso and the Lucchese. Just my three cents.

Amuso's out.

As Serp says its the westside which is the threat.

MORGAN: Why didn't you fight him at the park if you wanted to? I'm not goin' now, I'm eatin' my snack.
CHUCKIE: Morgan, Let's go.
MORGAN: I'm serious Chuckie, I ain't goin'.
WILL: So don't go.

I just think he's more of a Philly Problem. Yeah the westside will get involved if asked, but he's philly's elephant in the room.

Fat Pete was caso...and the new Philly guys dont give a crap about Phil and if one of these stupid guys wanted to get his botton and took a shot at him the feds my be watching..people think that the mob has stopped wanting to kill rats ,no they know that someone is watching or maybe pic of them doing it.And the old scarfo guys yes they may look to take a shot. These guys do not plan things out and do it where no one can see.pic are being taken all over you cant get away for all this new stuff big bro watching. If they plain it and did it right slow and easy things would be diff.Old days you could go BANG BANG no saw anything now they have a pic from the wendys across the street.

Serpiente, Then how come Franzese run around town and Hill used to run around town after cooperating. I know Sammy was on the hit list and had he not been arrested they would have gotten him?

chuckle! remember those days scarfo and his temper tantrums directed at his nephew. one day nicky flew into rage against phil, people are gonna say that man is not a man of his word (referring to phil) and if he's not a man of his word than well! that must mean that his uncle is not a man of his word too. do you want people to say that I am not a man of my word. scarfo would just start yelling phil was like a woman just sit there and take it all in. hahaha memories.

I will tell u something Lawrence was getting paid pretty good ,and then nicky knocked him down he was still used to spending 1000$ per night or more or less but anyway ,he did not stay home so it cost Phil an extra 500$ and me extra 200$ a night till hed started making money again..So it was not always fun .And sr. would do stupid shit like that just to see people hurt..

I have read from newspaper articles from back during that time period that Lawrence had a nack for violence and temper just like Nicky and Phil, was that the media just hyping things up or is that true?

Serpiente, do you believe Phil when he said he thought about killing his uncle and he wanted out of the life (before being arrested)? Or, do you subscribe to the Tommy Del school of thought that he only wanted out after he got hit with 45 years? Tommy Del claims he was as ruthless as his uncle and the Crow says Phil wanted Salvie killed just as much as his uncle did.

I've always been curious about those points.

answer your question in 3 parts.
1st scarfo was 100% italian he wanted to be the meyer lansky of ac. all he thought about was building and building just like las vegas (look mama what your boy did look at what he built. never did have any problems with nicky cos I kept my nose clean literaly. and I fit into the filosofi of scarfoinc. nicky never touched anyone that fit into his filosofi fuddagetbouit, so I trusted him with my life.
scarfo used say that ppl who made their money in alternative ways could never be trusted cos looking at the business thier dealing in and woise the ppl involved. can two guys that make thier money outside the rules ever be good friends? dunno you tell me, I ask myself the same question.
3rdly I kept a very low profile had very few friends unless nicky said to go eat pasta with them.I kept to myself had a lot work cos nicky was not about bullshit, very few ppl in this world was as dedicated as he was.

All the above, think what u would do...and yes he wanted to kill him ..He did not have to say it you could see it when sr was in fla.or was locked up it was a nice fam sr did not have to kill the way he did .he could have made a couple guys disapear and most would fall in line ,He started it and ruined it..Phil could of run it before the sal hit .and yes 45 years and you have a son and it is all gone to shit anyway..all the above
