You're either underestimating the feds or overestimating the mobsters if you think there's not a thing they can do about it. These things take time usually years you can't expect them to always have large cases but it's a stretch to assume the mob are laughing at them which your comment seems to be implying

I was merely implying that most of these guys don't give a damn about the Feds. They know enough to avoid them however. Personally I was hoping for a harsher sentence but even that fell through. I thought that this case was a joke from the start because it didn't put anybody away. Granted it wasn't a murder or racketeering case. But if the Feds are gonna indict them, do it when you got tons of stuff on them. Otherwise there's no point in locking them up for a mere six months. They'll all be out by next year.

this case fizzled out bad. feds wasting time on these guys getting less time then guys going to a county jail on dui. i think when they had that guy hector taping these guys fbi thought they had a homerun then he told them how he robbed and killed a guy less then a year ago.

It's not too hard. Set up a ruling panel or appoint an acting boss and have go betweens to limit your visibilty. he Bonannos have enough guys on the street. You can even communicate on the phone through coded messages if you viligant to phone taps.
