Almost a year ago a similar incident occurred in Italy. In February of 2009 Italian police arrested a transsexual Camorra boss. 27-year-old Ugo “Kitty” Gabriele ran a crew that consisted of dozens of members and which was involved in drugs and prostitution rackets.
A police spokesman was quoted by Italian press saying: “'We have been on Kitty's trail for several months and it is the first time that we have ever arrested a transsexual Mob boss. We think it is also probably the first case of its kind in the world. He was born Ugo Gabriele but told everyone to call him Kitty. He is very burly but at the same time you can tell he is trying to be a woman.”

And if I'm not mistaken, D'Amato was actually named acting boss for a short time by John Riggi after Riggi went to prison. My point is, if an acting boss can take it up the---oops---well, you get the picture.

Here's something about D'Amato... New Jersey mobster Stefano Vitabile is sentenced to life imprisonment for ordering the murder of one time boss John D'Amato. D'Amato was a homosexual, an offence punishable by death. In court the killer, Anthony Capo explained "Nobody's gonna respect us if we have a gay homosexual boss sitting down discussing La Cosa Nostra business,".
