Well, one reason is I don't think he'll be able to get out of the life. I think he is way to attached to the mob way of living and his character won't let him go. Also why wouldn't he? Ligambi is the boss of Philly and Merlino will want to start up something don't you think?

Maybe he will but i doubt he'll get as influential as the NY families are down in Florida .

I'd say Merlino is still the Boss with Ligambi being acting boss the whole time depends there is a Merlino faction etc when Marty Angelina was elevated to acting underboss to temporarily appease his faction

Joey better lay low and hope that he is not named or going to be indicted in the ongoing case now. Not sure when his probation is up but he can't be hanging around known criminals if he does head back up North.

If prison hasn't completely changed the way he goes about things i can't see him lasting more than a couple of years .
