He always seems to be in the shadow of Al Capone, but he did cause Capone some major headaches.
Was he really of French descent ? I always thought he was of Irish and Polish descent.

Are there any documentaries about Moran or other Al Capone's rivals?

I hope they do a "Mobsters" episode on Moran's organization. By the way, did he personally participate in the robberies he was imprisoned for at the end of his career or did he just plan them?

I think like all gangsters at the first they had to participate personaly in every crime,as they go higher up the ranks, they start to give orders to new commers and stuff, but there also gang bosses that want to participate in crimes just for the fun of it,they like the action, the adrenalin rush and i think the same goes for Bugs

He was French and his real name was Adelard Cunin. Check out the excellent The Man Who Got Away by Rose Keefe for the whole story.

French...that's pretty original lol. Since the French aren't really known for having a lot of gangsters ( although there are tons and tons of French Canadian mobsters ).

Louis Alterie, one of Moran's closest associates, was half French.

Yeah, Some Death and Birth record website's say he was born in America but his father was French and came from Alsace Lorriane but his mother was from Canada.
