Looking good, also featuring two old friends everybody knows around here. Ducks, anyone?

I'm excited for this movie. Looks to have a real "genuine" feel.

Some discussion already about this in another thread...

Aaaah didn't know that whistle .

Had no idea Gandolfini was in this one, I thought he was afraid of typecasting.

Yeah, he didn't want to do mob roles anymore. But him taking a role in this film may have had something to with with him and Pitt working together in The Mexican.

I saw the movie just now. Very good. Better then I thought. I was thinking it would of been like Kill the Irishman but its very clever.

Not gonna post links, obviously, but there is a DVDRIP doing the rounds now.

What did people think of it then? I enjoyed it, not sure why some audiences have reviewed it so brutally. Enjoyed the humour and patches of social commentary, the dialogue is snappy and well delivered (especially by Pitt) and - for all it's not usually too important to me - it was nice to see a modern crime film with contemporary cinematography. Biggest criticism I would maybe level at the film is that it could have been a bit longer, it left me wanting to see more.
