so me and a friend who lives in southern california got into a debate over which city has more of a mafia influence these days. he says las vegas without a question while i say AC by far. he seems to be stuck in the 70's-80's and cant seem to focus on the present day. what does vegas have today in terms of made guys, maybe one or two guys from chicago and maybe some smuck fom LA at most, with a handfull of associates under them? in atlantic city you have the philly, genovese, and gambino guys with somewhat viable operations going on, as well as some guys from the remaining ny families as well as some decalvacante guys. now im not trying to say that AC is a mob stronghold by any means, but do you guys think that lcn has a bigger influence there than in las vegas in the present day?
It's either blue cheese with wings or go fuck yer mudda!
Atlantic City even if for no other reason then because the Philly family still has territory there. It's in New Jersey where many wiseguys work/reside. The only guys left in Vegas are past associates from LA and Chicago like you said. There's no really active family anywhere near it.
