This odd couple ran casino style "joints" in the pan-handle of West Virginia. I know Jo Jo was John LaRocca's but did Chuck represent him or Myer Landsky? If so was this an accomadation between Florida and Pittsburgh?

To my knowledge (which I'll be the first to admit is limited)...Teemer,the "only college boy in the rackets", was all Pittsburgh. I believe he participated in gambling rackets solely on behalf of Pittsburgh interests.

My further research has proved you to be correct. Prior to opening Club 30, Chuck ran the Bachelor's Club in Pittsburgh. They he and his "friend" Lil moved into a trailor behind the Jockey Club. Both clubs were on Rt.30 in Chester, West Virginia.

I was told they operated under a Federal Gaming Permit and paid taxes. I'm sure after a healthy "skim". The Federal licence came from Dom Moosie Caputto after the Jungle Inn, Hubbard Ohio, was closed. They simply bought local and state officials including the Governer. The Feds finally busted them for employies coming over the state lines to work there.

Does this coinside with what you or anyone else knows?

not neccasarily. that goes on a lot in the south. indian store owners just stick them in the back. someone could get a peice of it. probably not. word always was that tony pep got put in his place after trying to 'set up' shop in atlanta.
