Remember all the rioting and violence that broke out in Jamaica a couple years ago when Dudas Coke was arrested for drug trafficking charges? (There's a post detailing all in the archives somewhere, but Im feeling lazy today )

After a battle to extradite him to the US face the charges brought in 2009, he was arrested in 2010 which saw an outbreak of attacks on police and public anarchy perpetrated by his gang. After pleading guilty in 2011, he has finally been sentenced to the maximum; 23 years.

Great article about it in the New Yorker a couple of months back. I'd post it, except that you can't view a lot of content unless you're a subscriber and it blocks you. But this Dudas and his father had an army, a fortified bunker, an arsenal, the whole nine yards. They really thought they could hold off the troops.
