is anybody else annoyed that little wayne used the race game on twitter about not getting front row seats at the oaklahoma city playoff game. did he even go to a game all year. mostly white people by his music but like a lot of black stars they are always ready to blame white people for every little problem. i am not a racist but this kind of verbage just really bothers me. like a sneaker shop i used to by my sneakers in started to advertise that it was black owned. even tho i already knew that, once the sign was posted i never went back.

im heading down to philly in a few weeks for the weekend to visit some friends, any good places to eat anybody can recommend? im staying on south 18th street.

Funny, but just today I watched a rerun of "Gordon Ramsey´s Kitchen Nightmares". In this episode, he helped a South Philly restaurant, "Chiarella´s" back on track.
Is this place still around? If so...Dapps, perhaps you should try it out?

If your in West Passyunk..you can go past 21st and porter and see phil testa's house theres an old truck parked outside with a pair of rubber balls hanging off the back..Go To Nick's Roast Beef on 20th and Jackson tell them to "juice it up." I don't know how long your in town but if you order pizza, order a slician from the pizza shack its on 18th and porter..Go to the King of Jeans on East Passyunk and ask for Izak he'll try and sell you his store seriously it is for sale,, he has a now hiring sign in the window and sells everything from a-z..in the store and then signs in the window say we sell on ebay, buys gold, fixes bikes, will sit you down and try and get you to invest in a pyramid scheme hes involved in with some Vietnamese people down 10th and race in Chinatown, plus all the shit in his store his fake LOL ..chirillas is alright I went there a few months back and the owner made us whatever we wanted on the menu or not it was a birthday dinner and a sunday night so the only place that you could go w.o reservations the owner is a good guy.. $17.00 frozen margarita pitchers at the cantina there's a bunch of hipsters ..Grumpys 10th and tasker is a dive its a good place to get in big ass fight outside without any law enforcement interuppution..bonnies capostrono well tony machines got the shot at 12th and dickinson anothher dive I blacked out and punched the bar tender in the face I also use to gamble in there all the time and chain smoke ..If you wanna see some wanna be mobsters and pick up a hooker at Quattroo down 10th and shunk Mousie use to frequent the joint before he got locked up..The vikings a division of the mummers and a lot of trash wearing fake ed hardy shit hangs out there..if you have an extra pencil or pen on ya i'm sure you can drop it in someones ass crack sitting at the bar

Dap! Glad I caught this. Do not go to Ralphs! Its a shell of its former self. The service and food is no where near as good as it use to be and the prices are high as well. I am actually a distant relative of the people who run it. Don't want to go into details with that story but don't go there. There are way better places all over south philly from little byob on the corners to nice resturants. You can to to places right near ralphs if you want to eat in the Italian/Mexican market. lol Theres so many I can't even think. Pesto on Broad and like Tasker is good. There are places on East passyunk that are different. Theres L'Angolo which is a real small resturance on the corner of Rosewood and Porter. Just promise me....No Ralphs!

random note: i didnt realize how cheap it is to travel to philly from nyc, i just bought tix on the boltbus which I have taken to dc before and it was great and the round trip tix cost me $29 bucks and could have been cheaper if i was more flexible with my travel time.

I like the train from Penn Station to 30th street in philly, I have taken the bus and there are some different types that take the bus
