The Italian Operetta in Godfather II that FFC's father wrote is a favourite scene of mine. Does anyone know the name of who is singing La Senza Mama? The actor is lip syncing so I don't know if he's doing the actual singing.

Welcome, Rosetta. The actor's name is Livio Georgi, and I believe he really sings. You can also hear him singing on the steps of Vito's tenement after Vito kills Fanucci and says, in Sicilian, to the infant Michael, "your father loves you very much."

Thanks for the welcome and thanks for the name. I just did a search for him but unfortunately his name is only associated with GF II. I'll continue to look around for more music by him. Maybe he was a friend of Carmine Coppola and this is all he did. Cheers.
