We talked about this a little bit in the "Legitimate" thread. Ever since then it has been really bugging me. What is the deal with passing the jewels around on the plate at the commission meeting in GFIII? It is so corny and doesn't seem to fit. Why would FFC put that in the scene? Ace
There are things that have to be done and you do them and you never talk about them. You don`t try to justify them, they can`t be justified. You just do them. Then you forget it.

What is the deal with passing the jewels around on the plate at the commission meeting in GFIII? It is so corny and doesn't seem to fit. Why would FFC put that in the scene? Ace Old age caught up and overtook FFC's genius. That movie was full of such corny stuff I think the whole movie is 'corny', but most of the 'stuff' is probably pretty accurate. I don't believe that FFC put much inadvertant material in these 2&1/2 GF movies. Passing of the jewels definetly sounds like something from the old Roman days. These guys absolutely worship relics and the old ways of life. 'and we was like the Roman Empire...'
